Shaker inspired design with a contemporary twist

The Winchester collection of dining and occasional furniture is crafted from Birch and Birch veneers with solid Oak detailing and a gently distressed, lacquered paint finish.

Crisp and fresh, the pared down Shaker design has been given a contemporary twist to create a range that works well in both modern and traditional settings. The subtle mixture of the paint finish combined, on some pieces, with unpainted solid oak, with an oiled finish, gives the range a distinct character and makes it ideal for the demands of everyday life.

The distressed paint finish on this range is achieved through the application of several layers of paint which are then gently aged in places.

The hand finishing of each individual item and the appearance over time of hairline cracks in the paint finish - a natural part of the ageing process - results in a subtle variation in finish between pieces giving each piece its own unique character.
